Trail Work

By maintaining trails, natural areas are protected from damaging traffic and trails that are regularly maintained are easier to keep up.  Trail work is a good way for volunteers to give back to their community.  Volunteers will perform trail maintenance duties such as pick up litter, clear trails, refresh trail markers, repair trails, and build new trails.

Virginia Cooperative Extension programs and employment are open to all, regardless of age, color, disability, gender, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, genetic information, veteran status, or any other basis protected by law. An equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
