The Cloudsplitter 100 is this weekend, October 12-13. We have several volunteers to help monitor the race station at Bark Camp Lake, but if any others would like to help, contact Beth Walker.

Phil Meeks announced that he and others plan to do some trail maintenance Tuesday, October 15, on the one-mile Phillips Creek Loop, near Cane Patch. If you would like to help, please email Phil Meeks for times and meeting locations.

Also, on October 15, the Friends of The Cedars will have their regular monthly meeting at 6 pm at the Daniel Boone Soil and Water Conservation office in Jonesville. For more information you can contact Jolene Lambert.

We can use more volunteers for our booth at MECC Home Craft Days on October 19 – 20. The hours on both Saturday and Sunday are 10 am to 6 pm. If you can volunteer for 1 or 2 hours (or more) and did not sign up last night, please contact Chris Allgyer.

Also, on October 19th from 11 am- 3 pm, Natural Tunnel State Park will be hosting several children’s activities for Halloween, and are in need of volunteers to help with these. If anyone is interested, please contact Rachel Blevins.
